Who are the classes for?
Anyone, of any age. Jewish people who would like to know more; non-Jewish people who would like
to convert; non-Jewish mothers who would like their children to convert; non-Jewish people
who would like to know about Judaism; people of any age who want to learn to read Hebrew
or who want to polish up the Hebrew they have.
When are the classes held?
On Monday evenings. There are two sessions. In the first session we learn to read Hebrew
to be able to participate in services. After a refreshment break we study Judaism - Shabbat, festivals,
the calendar, life cycle events, food customs, Israel, Jewish history.
How long does the course last?
About 15-18 months.
When can I start?
New courses usually start in October. You can
join at any stage, though of course it is best to start at the begininning if you can.
You will find the classes fun and friendly with interesting
and delightful classmates.
