Children are very important to our community. There are religious, educational and social activities for children of all ages, from babies to young adults.

		Baby Blessing
		Bring the new baby to the Shabbat service for a blessing and to announce his/her Hebrew name

		Babies and Toddlers Group
		Meets on Sunday mornings every fortnight for fun and activities.

		Children's Services
		Shabbat morning services for children up to 8 years of age, with singing, story telling and games.

		Cheder
		For children aged 5 to 15 years. Children learn Hebrew, Judaism and Bible study.

		Bar/bat Mitzvah
		Boys and girls have a bar/bat mitzvah at age 13 when they read from the Torah and Haftarah.

		There is a Sunday evening youth group, RSY-Netzer activities and a youth leadership programme.
